We were especially impressed with IdiomaX's many user-friendly features. The software is divided into three different interfaces: Translation Assistant, Web Translator and E-Mail Translator. We found each of the interfaces integrate well with other programs like Microsoft Outlook and Internet Explorer.
The E-Mail Translator worked efficiently. It will translate any email that you have open in your inbox.
We used the web translation tool integrated into Internet Explorer. The web pages were translated quickly and would easily give a Spanish speaker the gist of an English website. IdiomaX translates to and from many languages and you can set the interface language to English, Italian, French or Spanish.
However, the main reason why Idiomax was ranked so low in our review is the simple fact that Idiomax doesn't translate accurately. When we put Idiomax through our translation tests, the results were often unintelligible. Since the primary function of this software is to translate, we simply can't recommend Idiomax because it could cause more problems than it solves. To see the results of Idiomax's test take a look at the articles Test Format, Test 1, Test 2 and Test 3.
The translation software didn’t come with a help database. If you have problems, you can contact IdiomaX’s help and support by email and phone. For a higher accuracy rate, try our top ranked translation software program Babylon.
